THE FENTANYL ACTION NETWORK
It's about people.
The Fentanyl Action Network (FAN) is United Against Fentanyl's national campaign to end this epidemic. Below are the five pillars of our plan — and the federal and state laws that will get us there.
The 5 Pillars
What it takes to end the fentanyl epidemic
We are committed to ending the fentanyl crisis and confronting the broader synthetic drug threat. The Fentanyl Action Network is building a national movement with deep roots across the country. Together, we can end this epidemic.
Provide Every Student Evidence Based Prevention
The current approach to drug education is fragmented and inadequate. We must ensure that every student in America receives clear, consistent, evidence-based education about today's drug threats.
Respect Victims
Impacted families deserve financial support for funerals, medical bills, legal bills, and grief counseling - guided by trained victim advocates - plus a permanent National Opioid Crisis Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Make Treatment Easier to Access Than Illegal Drugs
In too many communities, it remains easier to buy illegal drugs than to access treatment. Every pathway must be expanded - hospitals, primary care, harm reduction, deflection, and drug courts.
Build a Recovery Friendly America
Recovery is a long-term process and too many are left without support. Government must fund recovery community organizations, transitional housing, employment, and recovery coaches.
Disrupt the Illicit Fentanyl Supply
China remains the key source of precursor chemicals. The U.S. should lead efforts to create a new global synthetics drug treaty requiring strict export controls - and hold all traffickers accountable.
Work With Our Policy Team

Our team works directly with elected officials, victim advocates, advocacy organizations, and community leaders to implement FAN's five pillars. Schedule a call to talk strategy.
Victim Advocacy
We stand with victims and their families
When fentanyl takes someone, families are left to face the justice system, mounting bills, and unimaginable grief. The Fentanyl Action Network is their advocate — walking beside families from the first call and carrying their voices into the laws that have to change.
Navigating Justice
We stand with families through law enforcement, the courts, and victim-compensation claims - so no one has to face the system alone.
Grief & Healing
From the first call onward, we connect families to counseling, peer support, and a community that understands what they are carrying.
A Voice in Policy
We carry victims' voices into the rooms where laws are written, making sure their rights are built into every bill we fight for.
